Dr Gerald T. Wong was born in Hong Kong but from the age of 10 he was educated in England. He received his degree in Medicine from the University of London in 1997. He then worked at various London hospitals and gained experience in major specialties including Cardiology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Respiratory Medicine, Haematology and Geriatric Medicine. After working in NHS hospitals for 5 years he obtained membership to the Royal College of Physicians(MRCP) in 2002. As his interest in General Practice grew, he completed his GP training in District hospitals working in Specialties which included Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After full registration in General Practice he joined a practice in West London. After relocating to Hong Kong in 2006, he joined a busy expatriate clinic in Central before eventually starting his own private practice in 2020. He holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DRCOG) as well as a Diploma in Geriatric medicine from the Royal College of Medicine (DipGerMedRCP). He has recently been awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London.
